Job Opening: Matchmaking Consultant
1 True Match is hiring a full-time Matchmaker in the Jacksonville, Florida area. No previous professional matchmaking experience is necessary – however, a passion for helping connect people and a drive to succeed is vital.
Our team of world-class matchmakers act as personal dating concierge by hand-selecting and vetting every potential match before introducing them to our clients. Our matchmakers are known for their compassion, trustworthiness, and genuine desire to help their clients find love. Our matchmakers have all had successful corporate careers and want to use their skills to directly have a big impact on people’s lives.
As a Matchmaker, you will be responsible for:
- Representing the 1 True Match brand as a networker, speaker, and dating expert
- Generating your own potential client leads utilizing your personal and professional networks
- Interacting with interesting singles and converting them into clients
- Leading a luxury service experience as your clients’ partner and coach throughout the matchmaking process
- Selecting potential matches from the network, your personal network, and at targeted events; collaborating with other matchmakers in
- the industry to support their matching efforts
- Meeting potential matches to vet them and introduce them to our clients
- Attending 1 True Match community events to promote brand awareness and recruit terrific singles into our pool as potential matches
Skills Needed:
- A highly motivated self-starter, positive, ambitious, determined, and confident
- Successful at developing rapport with a wide variety of people, not intimidated by powerful or affluent individuals
- A good listener and perceptive about people, with strong intuitive skills
- Experienced at selling an intangible or personal service or an “affordable luxury” product
- Proven in your career, with a track record of success
- Passionate and enthusiastic about matchmaking and experienced at multi-tasking
- High attention to detail and extremely organized
- Strong computer and social media knowledge
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-time work experience; bonus if this includes a role where you managed external clients, accounts, or relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience working in a collaborative environment with other staff members
- At minimum, a bachelors degree
- A passion for matchmaking
- Must live in Jacksonville, Florida area
Compensation: Base Salary and Uncapped Commission

Job Opening: Associate Matchmaker
1 True Match is hiring a part-time Associate Matchmaker for our Jacksonville office. The job requires 2 days a week in the office and 1 night at an event. This is an intern position with the opportunity for a full-time job within a year.
Job Requirements:
- Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and passionate about matchmaking and love
- Customer-service oriented demeanor
- College courses in a related field: i.e. public relations, psychology, journalism, event planning, marketing, business management,
- communication, hospitality, etc.
- Excellent emailing skills: impeccable grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Represent Matchmakers at 1 True Match at various events, galas, red carpets, and parties
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to handle difficult personalities, celebrity Clients, high profile Clients
- Well versed in: Google Docs and Google Calendar
- Well versed in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
- Must currently live in Jacksonville or surrounding counties and have reliable transportation to and from our office with laptop
